Dominique Henderson, RMHCI

Hi, I’m Dominique! I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and moved to Jacksonville in 2019. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology, as well as my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Jacksonville University.

Over the past 4 years, I’ve gained clinical experience working with children ages 2–14 through ABA, supporting communication, social skills, and behavioral growth across home, clinic, and community settings. I’ve also worked with adults in substance use rehabilitation, helping clients build coping skills and feel supported throughout their recovery.

I’m passionate about helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, self-worth challenges, mood disorders, and behavioral concerns, including children and teens experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on meeting clients where they are. I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
